Drawing on years of professional experience in family, child health, and wellbeing, as well as academic work and lived parenting experience, we recognise that parents play a profound and irreplaceable role in the health, development, and long-term success of their children.
At a time when the influence of parents is sometimes underestimated, Pars Banou believes that mothers and fathers remain the first and most important source of emotional, developmental, and human support in a child’s life. With this understanding, we seek to redefine motherhood and fatherhood through a lens of knowledge, compassion, responsibility, and respect.
We believe that parenting is not merely a role or title. It is a deeply meaningful commitment, shaped by care, guidance, love, and unconditional support across every stage of a child’s life. A parent’s presence, words, actions, and emotional availability can powerfully influence on their child’s sense of safety, confidence, identity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
From both professional evidence and human experience, we know that every person needs emotional connection and support throughout life. This support is not always available through society, school, or the workplace. For many children and young people, family can become the first safe place where sadness, disappointment, excitement, fear, and joy can be expressed without judgment, blame, or rejection.
Pars Banou for Family Health is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of parents, children, and families across all stages of life. We stand alongside families through education, awareness, and compassionate support, helping to make the journey of parenting more informed, nurturing, and deeply human.
