Volunteer with the Pars Banou
Pars Banou CIC is the first regulated company to benefit the Farsi Speaker Women community by the UK government (The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS).
PB is the best possible assembly of Farsi speakers who graduated, and professionals’ cooperation with partners from other communities together provides practical and emotional support for the interest of women’s economic growth. We will advocate standing with strong-willed immigrant women from entrepreneurial backgrounds from the land of Pars looking for a job and financial independence.
Pars Banou invites enthusiastic, collaborative, and well-organised volunteers from UK colleagues and graduates, preferably living in England, to develop and deliver advisory services. We serve Farsi-speaking women in the new community who are artists and have entrepreneurial backgrounds in the following fields:

Desired qualifications:
- Female students of UK universities and graduates, preferably living in England
- Proficiency in Persian/ Farsi language
- Familiar with the National Health Service (NHS, education and benefit systems of the UK
- Up-to-date knowledge of welfare and housing rights may affect client groups, ability to advise women on these resources and how to access them.
- A non-judgmental, open-minded, and empathetic attitude towards others.
- Understanding the importance of equality while accepting diversity and a willingness to challenge adverse views.
- Ability to listen to others and ask personal questions sensitively.
- Act according to the professional policies, laws, and terms and conditions of Pars Banou.
- Empowering women by supporting them to access the right services for their situation and linking them to relevant support services.
- Maintaining Pars Banou data protection policy and ensuring confidentiality and client records accurately.
- An interest in research and campaign relating to women’s economic empowerment is the most potent direction to a woman’s personal and social health.
General conditions:
We are looking for people who have the following skills and abilities:
- The ability to interact positively with Persian-speaking women or the relevant previous experience and the ability to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge about the UK welfare and education rights, types of employment status, and, in short, integrated multi-direction involves newcomers adjusting to the UK society.
- Competency framework to job search for the clients’ business support by finding resources and how to access them.
- Effective cross-cultural communication skills
- Good management and organisational skills
- Confident Information technology (IT) skills, using the Internet and word processing
- Commitment to working as part of a small, supportive team
- The ability to build trust and honesty with clients, who may have problems in expressing their needs, such as fear of being a burden, fear of being imposed, and fear of being too needy.
- We are improving women’s confidence by encouraging and motivating them to overcome barriers to being active.

Pars Banou will consider candidates completed forms and review the CVs based on an applicant’s details on achievements and qualifications. Later, the Pars Banou team will invite those with the most highlighted resume to join the team.
